If you're going to purchase online, use a credit card that gives you some insurance like AMEX.
Debit cards typically if you get burned you're SOL, AMEX will refund your money typically.
You'll find many people on these boards shop online, but most will try to keep within a select few like NewEgg.com or Amazon... companies we know we can trust.
