got a quick question. How do you chmod 777 a folder and also change the file permissions of all the files inside that folder at the same time. Thanks for your help guys.
Or if your like me and love to do things visually (not always...but ... )....... you can use konqueror and open up a file browser and right click on your folder, and make changes under PROPERTIES......... (the example below is my DVD folder)

This is the quickest way for me to change the chmod settings of several folders while using KDE. ..... just one more way to solve the same problem.
