GeforceFX/Geforce4 TV-Out Problems
Im not sure what exactly to call this problem but, i seem to have strange areas of discolored lines when i display my computer on my tv.
There are 2 lines, one is a line about 1 inch high where everything is slightly darker inside surrounded by a 1/10th of an inch high lighter area. The other line is just the opposite (1 inch light, 1/10th inch dark). The 2 lines move up the screen at the same rate all the time, it takes about 15 seconds for a line to move from the bottom to the top.
I have all the latest drivers and this has happened on both a Geforce4 TI 4600 and, a GeforceFX 5600 (both in the same pc at separate times). Ive tried using both the s-video out to the tv and converting the s-video to normal analog cables using the converter supplied with the card. Ive tried about 3 different s-video cables and 6 different analog cables.
I also get this problem to a much lesser degree (about 1/10th of an inch for the entire discoloration area) when using 2 normal monitors (any 2, ive tried a lot).
Windows 2000 Professional (also occurs in 2000, 98, and XP)
AMD Athlon XP (at 1.7 ghz)
512 MB DDRAM
ABIT Siluro GeforceFX 5600 DT
Latest DirectX, Latest nVidia Drivers, all other drivers up to date as of january 2004.
Im not really sure what else could be relevant.
