GeForce FX 5600 not enough power problem...

I have a problem, after i installed my GeForce FX 5600 with the latest version from NVIDIA ver53.04 nvidia sentinel prompts a warning message that my Video Card is not getting enough power to function propperly. so the NVIDIA driver/software reduce the video card performance to function propperly. I am very confused, because what i know only the ULTRA series of GeForce FX supports an external power connected to the power supply.

Is there anyone knows about this problem?

My System is:

INTEL PENTIUM 4C 2.8GHZ HT
512 DDR 400 MHZ
INNO3D GeForce FX 5600 128 MB DDR 8X 128bit VIVO
ASUS P4PE-X/TE 4X AGP CAPABILITY

The latest driver version is 56.64. Give those a try first.

Ok, thanks i think about that also. I currently downloading the file from NVIDIA. By the way, is this maybe an effect because the AGP CAPABILITY of my board is only 4x but the video card is 8x?

All GeForce FX cards are backwards compatible with AGP 4x boards.

ic, so the power problem is not because of the AGP CAPABILITY. thanks.

A power problem would be the result of a deficient PSU. How many watts is your power supply rated for?
