computer1 is on a distinguished road
Gaming newegg refurb barebone came fine but what is..?

What is COM A and COM B i have never seen these before and I just want to make sure its not onboard video!?

'COM' refers to serial ports. They are usually numbered, COM1, COM2, etc. Never heard of COM A, but it's probably still a serial port.

serial ports..the only thing youd use em for nowadays is maybe for a UPS for back up power etc. usually now they put firewire or more usv ports there..but if not they just put serial ports. (com ports)

My emachines does not have those :-) lol thats why its going bye bye when I am done with this new machine!...so those are not for monitor hookup correct?

communication ports.

most of the time serial, can be modem, and even usb i believe.

nope not for monitor hookup

no..they are the opposite of what u need for monitor hookup....back in the day there were used for mouse ports....that was before the current "PS2" mouse ports came along.

You might also use them nowadays for external dialup modems

yeah they are putting com ports in computers anymore

they are phasing out "legacy" connectors

sounds good...i am getting very irriatated I order a graphics card I got my conformation but no shipping info or anything! And its been a nice amount of bussiness days I will ahve to call tomrorow never order from this site (this is what i am supposedly "getting")

Look at this pic: LINK

In the lower left corner you can see the difference between a com port and a video port. Under the purple parallel port is a black com (serial) port and a blue video port. Notice that the serial port has 2 rows of male pins. The video port has 3 rows of female pins.
