how can i make easy cash from my website, im kinda low in money now and i can tell the bills will be big, and i got no money to pay for them, i tried google ad sense banner, but they gave me a few reasons why i can't join. bleh, anyone have suggestions, i have also tried the paypal donations and only received $5 from someone, low but its money, so thats not gonna help much i need to go up to another level

I heard somewhere that if it takes longer than thirty seconds for a website to load than most people are going to steer away. Believe it or not the majority of people are still on dialup, it took well over two minutes to load up your site and even then it eventually timed out, which means the majority of it didn’t load.

Perhaps this is the reason not many are donating/paying because not many are staying. Good Luck! I wish you buckets of green backs.

What Zotzmein said, I am on broadband and it actually took some time for the site to load. That is rather unacceptable.

took like 30 seconds for me on dsl... but other than that I thought the site layout was very well laid out (even at 1024x768 some of the links were very small though).

Perhaps if your site was gettings a large amount of traffic you might consider contacting music retailers to see if they were interested in buying an advertising... but regardless. I think its going to be VERY tough to make much off a website... even some very popular sites only make enough money to pay for running the server itself.

would it be because my whole layout is in PNG format

the site loads ok for me, but reguardless png is not the best format to pick.. File sizes tend to be larger than jpg and gif.. so I would convert everything to either jpg or gif..

Also there is a broken image http://streethop.com/images.php?imag...sts/jarule.jpg shows as a red X

Far as making money, that's a tough one.. I run a few adult websites, as that area of the web has the most money to be made.. It's even hard to break into that these days.

How ever one of the adult affilate programs was branching out into mainstream areas.. I'll have to look around to see which program it was .. but they have some affilate programs for selling ring tones and so on.

But in all honesty you won't make much unless you have a lot of traffic.
