Misc Pc 2100 mixed with 2700

Hi guys,

I have a 512mb Kingston 2700 ram chip.
I also have a 256mb pc 2100 and a pc 2100 512mb chip.
Would i be better running just the 1 chip(512mb Kingston at 2700) or all 3 ram chips at 2100 speed ?
What would give better performance.I use a Msi KN2g board.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Ian

running only 2700 would be the best preformance, but i dont know if you would really notice an acutall difference in speed. Try it out running at 2100 and run a few benchmarks and do your normal stuff, see if you notice a slow down. How fast is your prosessor?

I would run just the 2700 and sell the 2100.
What do you use the computer for, anything that requires alot of memory? that would be the only reason I can think of for using the 2100.

ram

Just for general use really.
Thanks for the tips.Think i'll just stick with the 1 512mb pc 2700 ram and build another pc from all my spare parts with the pc2100 768mb ram.
