boot cd to check hd?

Hi

I want to make a boot cd-rom to check for hard disk errors - using scandisk and chkdsk. I'm not sure how to...could someone tell me?

Make a bootable CD with scandisk.exe and chkdsk.exe on it, preferrably in the root dir. You may want to add other utilities as well to use up some of the available space on the CD-R.

Which is it that you're not sure how to do? Make a bootable CD? What burning software are you using and which operating system is this boot cd going to be for?
