Partition Magic Question

I have PM 4.0,and it was issued before XP.SO my question is.It runs on 95,98,NT,and DOS.Since it runs on NT will it work on XP?

Also if the partitions are FAT 32 on the system, because it's an upgrade from 98SE,will it still work?

Thanks

you can run xp on fat 32 but it is less stable than ntfs..I would just reformat the drive the os is on when i install

I don't know if pm4 will work with xp but if it does i would suspect it won't work with ntfs partitions

You used to could get PM8 for 22.95 on dealdealdeal.com (I did) but now they only have PM5 for 19.95

I don't know why not.
I don't use it. Although I have and partitioning on the fly is great.
If you can use it on NT I don't see what could be a problem.
As HeadBand said about the Fat 32 for XP, I've always had problems with it after a while too. I'd use NTFS.
If you want to try something free, theres Ranish Partition manager did I mention free?

Thanks for the linky Surreal,I wanted to convert to NTFS,and make a partition for my Digital pics, and MP3s,so I don't lose them if I have to do a format.
I will give that a try

You could just do a convert.
Just go to command prompt and type:
C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs
