hulkMAD is on a distinguished road
turn off sound in IE 6.0

how do i turn off all website sounds when browsing in Internet Explorer 6? like the background music, buttons that make noise when clicked, etc. i want to be able to turn off sound from shockwave and flash stuff too. how can i do this? i've already unchecked the "play sound in web pages" under "internet options," but its still playing every and all sounds.

Here's how to get rid of the click.

Open Sounds and Audio Devices from the Control Panel, click on the Sounds tab, and scroll in the "Program events" list until you find "Start navigation" under the Windows Explorer section. In the Sounds drop-down list, choose "(None)" and click OK.
