Hey all, I downloaded an SVCD file from allofmp3.com yesterday, and I also used TMPGenc to convert some of my mpegs to mpeg-2 format, and I burned them as SVCD. When I play the svcd using an mpeg decoder on windows media player the files play fine, no sound lag or anything. But when I pop the svcd into my dvd-vcr combo player there is about a 500msec sound lag. The player is a SONY SLV-D201P. Anyone have any suggestions? How I know it's about 500msec is because when I re-encode the files with audio set ahead by 500msec it plays fine on the dvd player, but then it's 500msec ahead when I play the svcd on my PC.
