Does anyone know if they block port 80? If so how can I open it up?

No they don't. Not to my knowledge. My port 80 is as open as a jaybird (whatever that means).

i don't think an isp would do this. i think you are more likely to have port 80 blocked on your machine by a firewall. if your isp filters traffic for certain ports that you need to use, then find a new isp. are you running a firewall?

I work for comcast and we do not block ANYTHING. It's an open connection 100%...

If 80 is closed off then its something with your friends website or your machine.

If port 80 is blocked there is no www.

Cable normally comes out of the wall to a Modem( little box) then to a router (Another little box) Or straight to a computer.
Routers usually have 5 or more places to plug a cable into.
