Gaming HELP - I Deleted Java Webstart....

I was having some problems with java in my browser, so I figured I could uninstall the software and reinstall it, hoping that it was somewhere on the CD's I received with my PC - WRONG!!! Now my browser will not work with anything that involves Java

I have been to Java's website and both of the downloads I have tried, which should have worked, do not resolve the problem:

Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition, v1.4.2 and NetBeans IDE 3.5.1

&

J2EE 1.4 SDC Developers Release.

PC is a Gateway
Windows XP
IE 6.0 SP-1

Thanks....

You need the JavaVM, the ones you've tried are for developers.
