At Home Media Player Needed

Recently bought XPLite Pro, which is a tool to delete programs from Windows XP that are almost impossible to delete manually. With this tool I completely deleted Windows Media Player from my OS and now I am looking for an other nice media player, that isnt from Microsoft. I dont know much about this, and the only programs I have used so far are WinAmp (which I dont like that much) and RealPlayer (which is OK, but not for me I guess). What other nice media player are available? I preference a FREE media player.

Xplite Pro
You may find some useful alternative players here:

http://home.hccnet.nl/h.edskes/finalbuilds.htm

Ex. real alternative, media player classic, quicktime alt, etc.

Zoom makes a pretty fair player also:

I recommend ACe Mega Codecs Pro http://www.softpedia.com/public/cat/...1-2-7-10.shtml

It comes with BSPlayer and Media PLayer Classic(Not made by microsoft, just looks like media player, and it can play any video files, even real media)

BSPlayer is the most stable video player I have ever used. Some video files I play with other players that would crash int he middle, play just fine with BSPlayer.
