What's wrong with Geocities file manager?

I went to update my free Geocities web site and cannot get past clicking on file manager. I emailed them about the problem, but no answer yet. It took me about an hour to find customer service.

Does anyone have any information on this? Are they cutting off all the free sites now?

Does anyone know of any other free sites?

Thanks

Can't you just use FTP?

I was never a fan of thier file manager software.

Free Geocities file manager OK now.

Geocities fixed the bug in their file manager program.

They do not allow ftp in the free mode. If you pay, then you can ftp, but I am only using it for family pictures and stuff. I did make a backup this time to put on my public web site, just in case I need to change over. I guess I was waiting for lightning to strike!! Yeah, that is as good a reason as any.

Just a note: I checked their code before I emailed them and saw where they misused a * instead of a " in their anchor link . I wonder if their coders are in India.
