Best way to make this

On my website I've got pages of news that I want to split into separate pages, while retaining the surrounding content. The idea is like frames (except I dont wish to use frames- the whole page must scroll together). What is the new method of doing this quick and painlessly?

edit: I also want to share the surrounding content with a couple new pages I'm going to transition into the main template (look).

Update

I finally got it down but now I have a few new (and old) Mozilla-specific problems that I hope to put to rest. (See attachment)

Update #2

The jumble of text is gone now that I've ditched Tripod, but the flash problem is still there.

I'm wondering if this also shows up on Opera (don't have the browser so I'll need someone's help on this)?

Thanks!

I snipped out the tripod link (original post) 'cause it's now put into the mirror list.
