symantec corporate or Trend Micro?

our small law firm has has Symantec corporate edition 8.0 for about a year and a half. No probs yet but we nee to renew. Out computer consultant is suggesting that we install Trend Micro PC-Cillin on all of abuot 20 Computers.

On of our attorney who did not ahve symantec corporate installed got the NetSky worm a few days ago and the computer consultant installed Trend-Micro. It's about $25 per station and something like $19 a year per statino to renew.

what is better for a network running on 2k3 server and that has abouit 20 computers? Trend Micro or Symantec Corporate. We called symantec and asked if they were still updating us and they said no because we bought the software (symantec) through a diferent computer consulting company. BUT I just checked my verison of Symantec corporate and it has been updated and even detected the NetSky worm 2 days ago and placed it into quarantine!!!

Which would be better Syamtec Corporate or Trend Micro?

I think the newest version on Norton Corp is 8.1...Would be much easier to just renew what you've got.

We use corp. edition and it's pretty decent IMO. We've got close to 50 pcs running it with a Win2k3 server.

norton corp is very good. trend is also good. you will not be hurt on either one you pick.

I personaly think Trend Micro PC-Cillin Internet Security suite is a much better product then any that Symantec produces.

I have Trend on 280 machines at work (using the Coporate Edition) and 15 roaming laptops running the home PC-Cillin version including my work laptop and my home computer. I have yet to get a virus on any machine that I support.. many found and deleted though.
