I recently discovered more Intel Pentium 4 processors are available, but still no 64-bit based CPU. Why does Intel still release new and more powerful versions of its P4 series, when most of its concurrents are releasing (or already released) 64-bit based processors? I saw the 3,4 GHz Pentium 4 available, and also versions of the 3,0 and 3,2 GHz versions with 1MB Cache (normal versions have 512KB) and the both funny and weird part is that most of these processors are even more expensive (here in Sweden) than the AMD Athlon64

What is Intel thinking? I know its a bit early to make a 64-bit based processor since we still use, and everything is made for 32-bit based CPU's, but still. And for Intel to but that pricetag in these processors is ridiculous. What do you guys think?
