Is Kazaa lite+++ finally DEAD???????????

Hi all,

In the last 8 hours, both my computers running K-lite have stopped D/L new searches, have gotten slow, and most importantly only show one user online (presumedly ME, and I already have all these files downloaded!). I know they stopped allowing the software to D/L from the k-lite mirror sites, but I didn't know the software was going to stop working altogether.

Anybody have any furthur insight and ideas on other p2p file sharing programs?

Kazaa Lite K++ is working fine for me.

Any worms/viruses I may have picked up that might account for this behavior? I'm running XP pro with Norton AV 2003...

winmx seems to work pretty well.

Interface is a bit klunky but it works.

no idea on the problems.

Are you having problems with net in other apps?

my mate used to get this quite a bit under xp and cable broadband. shutdown and unplug yer comp and modem for half a minute and then try again. if this don't help, then you could try ipconfig program. i forget the switches you need but ipconfig /all rings a bell. run from a dos box or the run prompt. check the switches first with ipconfig /? from a dos box

I had tried simply reinstalling K-lite, with no success (paul9,tried your idea), but after uninstalling /reinstalling, selecting the option to reset the registry options, I AM NO LONGER ALONE!

Kazzaa is working fine for me!
Maybe it's that the material you are trying to download is difficult to find or something.
