1394 connection? what is that??

hello there,

i remember that i never install a connection named "1394 connection" in my network connection ... suddenly just now i realise such a connection appear in my Jutjisu notebook... with 400 mb/s speed. since i am IT poor, so can someone tell me what connection is that?

1394 is firewire.

to expand on that a bit

1394 is firewire as noted above.
Its not really for network connections, its mostly for connecting peripheral devices much like USB is.

Most used with digital video devices

& what is firewire, it does not mean someone gets data from that notebook without my permission, does it?
