Would you be using a content filter or ad blocker? That is about the only time that specific error type ever seems to appear at TechIMO with IE.

I get that error when I browse techimo from school.
It was a regular ie6 on xp.
But I have no idea what content filtering is done at the gateway.

Okay, I loaded the source. It is a JavaScript error, but I can not spot any noticable problem specifc to line 84.

I will take a look at the issue later today when I have actually had some sleep.

Sorry Robert I've been meaning to tell you for the last couple days about getting a lot of JavaScript errors on the pages. But it does seem to be better.
Dax, you have explorer set to display notification of script errors right?

ya when I was using IE yesterday it showed up in the status bar that "Done witherrors" thing.
minor issue, but ya that popup would get annoying.

Disable scripting errors in Internet Options, Advanced tab.

The error is on line 85 on my machine. Same error content.

Cheers!

I don't have it enabled.
BTW Robert it seems to me the pages are also loading slowly since the errors started and it happens on most of the pages..

(like this one)

Hey Beemer, would the same error be on every page?
(maybe I shouldn't ask, I'm still going through my registry)

I just got back in for tonight....

The error would exist for any page loaded from showthread.php, as noted by your IE address bar.

Oddly enough, I receive the same error on line 114 when filtering content, though I receive absolutely no errors with filtering disabled.

I will check the JS code tonight, plus submit an error report to Scott for further analysis.
