i bought a motherboard GA-7N400L and pair it with AMD2200 cpu, everything was fine and works with windows xp.

But the problem is the mb only recognized my cpu as 1500, why?

what should i do to change the default setting of the clk_sw and clk_ration on the motherboard and also the setting in bois the advanced chitset features?

Refer to the chart on page 14 (I think) of the manual and set the front side bus to 133 MHZ.

The cpu runs at 133 mhz.

The "multiplier" is 13.5.

Ergo, 133 x 13.5 = 1795, rounded up to 1.8 Ghz

PC 2100 DDr ram will run in sync with that processor.

A 2200+ runs stock at 1800 MHZ...

You need to turn the CLK_SW to (on). Put all your jumpers to auto or in other words turn them all (off)..

Go in the Bios and change the setting from normal to turbo. Boot into Windows and you will notice it is at 1800 MHZ..

Now if you want to overclock the CPU then mess around with the jumpers... Do the math and figure out what you want..
