connecting to BEFW11S4 router using an airport card

Hey all,

I have recently bought an Airport card to connect to my home network using an ibook.
The router works fine for my Laptop (PC) wireless and for my desktop PC (RJ45). I am using the 64bit encryption key for the wireless network. Inside the router at 192.168.1.1 page I see the option between 64bit and 128bit encryption. I am using the 64bit, cause with 128bit I don't seem to be able to connect with my Laptop (PC) as well.
Also, the iBook seems to connect to other networks in the apartment complex which are non-encrypted, so the airport card seems to work as well. However, if I remove the encryption on the Linksys router it still doesn't work for the MAC...

Is the SSID broadcasted? I had that particular router and had problems connecting a non-linksys card to the router when I wasn't broadcasting the SSID.
