Put patches and updates for XP on CD?

I'm working on a computer that only has dial up. I'm sure it needs all patches and updates since like October and there's no way I'm gonna sit here and wait.

Can I d/l these on my home comp (3 mb d/l) and put them on a cd and then put them on the dial up comp?

Thx!

jme

better yet, just order the free one from Microsoft here:

Woops! Didn't realize it only has the updates through Oct. 03, sorry.

Just did this for a lab I manage with download quotas on the individual machines.

Just note the knowledge base (KB) numbers for the updates needed, then go to http://support.microsoft.com/default...#91;LN];kbjump to find the file needed to apply the patch.
