hi, i don't own any of those but i can tell u that the DFI lanparty is probebly the best nforce2 mbo out there to get. especially for overclocking (i have seen many people hit above 240 fsb easily). if ur not looking to a lot of $$$, then get the DFI infinity which is basically a stripped down version of the lanparty without a lot of extra features.

he asked for the best board put of the ABOVE 3. and besides.......all nforce2 ultra boards have dual channel, "mad features" (ie: the abit nf7-s has all of the features that the a7n8x has with the exception of dual lan which not everyone uses), and all nforce2 ultra boards have the soundstorm APU (unless its disabled by manufacturer). also the asus is not by far the best overclocker, abit nf7-s and hte DFI lanparty smoke the asus in overclocking. IMO.

so yea outta those 3 the DFI would be ur best bet and it comes with a LOT of extra stuff. thats why its so expensive.

I`m with nurdonsite2...the Lan party is by far the best overcloker out there...not to mention it looks good!

I haven`t had any luck with ASUS. Don`t like them.

Outdoors Don't buy Gigabyte

Stay far away from those gigabyte boards. There is a bug in tha ITE (GigaRAID) contriller that disrupts high end sound cards and I beleave just about anything that needs large amounts of PCI bandwidth. It also performs VERY pooly. Also there is a bug with SATA controller that causes data loss. The SATA bug has been fixed by Silicon image but Gigabyte has not released the fix in there BIOS for about 6 months now. Also, the voltage regulator on the GA-7NNXP has been known to cause problems in many systems (incuding my own) and has not shown any real value.

Here are somw links about the boards. The first two are about the ITE bug and a modded BIOS that fixes some problems:
http://pr3ach3r.overkillsystems.net/...0ITE%20BUG.htm
http://forums.amdmb.com/showthread.p...hreadid=244345
This one is just general Gigabyte MB infor: http://forums.amdmb.com/showthread.p...hreadid=266766

I have the GA-7NNXP and given the way the Gigabyte has handled the problems with this board I do not intend the ever buy a Gigabyte product agin.
