Which is better? 9600 vs 9700
My friend was asking me which would be better? the Radeon 9600 128mb or the 9700 64mb?

Ive never seen nor heard of a 64MB 9700...
I suppose it depends if you are talking about pro vs. non-pro for speed.

A 9600 XT or pro might be faster than a 9700 non-pro, but the 9700pro beats any 9600 pro/xt by a longshot in any benchmark ive ever seen
