Radeon 9800 Pro problems

I have the sapphire 9800 pro, and I think there's something wrong with it, but i'm not quite sure. I tested my computer at pcpitstop.com and it rated my 9800 pro at a score of 187, while other 9800 pro's were rated at 230 or so!

Also when I play games like MOHAA it freezes occasionally. I've been thinking the power supply is going out, so I ordered a new one. If that doesnt fix it, what could it be?

What size PSU do you have? What are your CORE/MEMORY speeds? Have you tried 3.9's or 4.1 cat drivers?

431w, and i'm having problems wiht my SATA hard drive, so thats why im getting a new 560w psu. core/memory are default speeds and yes ive tried older drivers

431watt (what brand). Thats probly it max load not max sustained load. Like most 400watt psu's that means 400watts for less than 10secs (boot time takes more power -surge) and lower sustained load. Im not saying it is the psu. Im saying we dont really have anyway of knowing. Swapping it like you are is the only way to find unfortunatly.

yeah that makes sense. the power supplyi have rihgt now is really good actually (or it was) its the enermax EG465p VE-FC

i got the same card... and just built a new computer with it... but im gonna wait until the 15th when i can buy my RAM to do any benchmarking.. right now im just running 1 pc2100 256 stick until i get paid on the 15th...
