win2k restarts

win2k restarts at startup... even in safemode too!!
why is this?
dcom error log was in system under event viewer.

Could be a virus.

Can you boot with the 2K CD and get into the Recovery Console and do a repair?

i tried it but i receive the following error msg:

ram problem? cooling ok? most restarts are mostly have this problems.

it cant be becoz i am fine in 2003 server os.

my dad had this a while back on win me...all i did was when it was starting up i kept doing ctrl+alt+delete and closing everything excpet explorer untill it was done then i ran msconfig and chose minimal boot...then i could back up his data atleast...then i reformatted...yeah there is probobally a way to get rid of this but he was due for a format anyway
