overclocking nvidia 5600 FX

I just recently bought a nvidia 5600 fx vid card.

My friend has the same thing only his runs at the same spped as a 5900..............he said he overclocked it and is still using the original fan.


what i would like to know is how i can do it whith which software.
and what setting to put it at.......

any help???

my system specs are (if this helps at all)

AMD XP 2600+
windows 2000 pro
kingston pc2700 512Mb DDR
nvidia 5600fx
160gb western digital HDD 7200rpm
30gb seagate HDD 5200RPM

Try nVHardPage. It unlocks hidden features in the Nvidia control panel giving you more tweaking and overclocking options.

I'm not sure of what sppeds you'll achive, but just increase the core and memory sppeds a little at a time until you start to have problems, then back them down a bit.

thats a fine and dandy site.......but confusing....
i downloaded the nvhardpage but what next......
i tried powerstrip.........it sux donkey rancheros
tell me how to use it and that would be gerat and i'll be on my way


by the way do i need special drivers for that program for my vid card???
