My XP3000+ runs at 33C idle, and under full load I come around 37-38C.
But when I clock it up to 2.4Ghz, it'll do 40C idle and about 45-46C full load.
This is so cool, because I think it is my motherboard that is holding me back.
I can set my speed from 2.0Ghz to 2.4Ghz with raising just 0.025V vcore.
Anything above 2.4Ghz it refuses to boot.
It is btw the 400Mhz version of the XP3000+ And I use a thermalright SLK-900A with AS5 to cool it.
Also have 4 case fans creating a nice windy case.
My setup is as follows:
Asus A7N8X
XP3000+ @ 2400Mhz
512Mb PC3200
Radeon 9800 NP @ Pro speeds
WD 120Gb ATA133 7200rpm
Samsung 16x dvd player
NEC 4x dvd writer
Can any1 tell me why I can't clock even 1Mhz higher then 2400Mhz?? Thanks in advance
