Aero, It's Worse Than the Chopper Mission

Hi Aero,

Just when I thought it was safe to go back into Vice City, here we go again. I'm doing some jobs for that Haitian Momma and now there are RC planes in the mission, Damn.....

These RC planes are just as much a pain in the ass as the chopper was. Can you divulge how you managed to get through this mission? According to the book, there is no secret other than to try and control the plane as best as possible.

There seems to be no reasonable way to keep the plane at a level altitude. I'm using a joystick and getting no joy. Also, why does it start raining so often in Vice City? Any help or input would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Hans Groenewold

Heh, I had lots of trouble with that mission too...

But whatever book you're reading is right, you've got to practice your flying skills.
Obviously, you haven't found the Dodo yet- or you would have already given up on this game.

It took me a ~very~ long time to beat that Dodo mission, too darn long IMO...

So, anyway- maybe you can get some hints for the RC plane mission from "fluxwildlyuncut's" Mission FAQ --> Here

Frequent rain in Vice City?
Well, it does look alot like Florida doesn't it...

'luck to 'ya!

Practice. Getting it off the ground is hard enough.

Once you do get in the air, keep it full throttle. Do not turn all at once. Step the turning to keep altitude. When you start getting close, let off the throttle momentarily then hold the thottle back down. This will dip the nose and let it sort of dive bomb till it catches back up then it will level off again. Just practice it till you get a feel for how long to let off the throttle. This was the easiest way for me. I blew the car up first then went after everything else.

Thanks for the help. It looks as if I'm in for some practicing. Is it my imagination or is Tommy loaded from what that Haitian Momma is feeding him?

Sincerely,
Hans Groenewold

I finally got the mission done, it turned out to be easier than the RC copter mission. Hey Aero, if the DoDo mission is anything like flying the DoDo in GTA III, I'm not looking forward to it. I think I tried that thing a couple of times and could barely get it in the air. Thank God I didn't have to in order to complete the missions. Take care.

Sincerely,
Hans

Just finished the Dodo mission. It was easier than the R/C Chopper and the R/C plane.
