HD Help =sweet taste

Hello Everyone ,my HD 120 gb wd 72k is partitioned as such:
C-19.5 called it 120-1
E-16.6 " " 120-2
F-30 " " 120-3
G-19.5 " " 120-4
H 39.2 " " 120-5
all are in ntsc format ,p4 512 ram ,antec psu
suddenly i can`t get my stuff on F and can`t recover it.
Going to properties( R.C) shows used space 100% blue,and file system:RAW
what is RAW and what did i do or didn`t?and Y
any recovery data software u recommend for helping and any suggestion please.
(wish i had this problem in photo-shop,then the wise men would surely help!)
demo software shows my total folders intact (in F ),i could smell them,but won`t pay
for the promised land.
will send 3 Hershey bars to the one who rescue me
All other data on the HD works ok,and the Wd is new.

Have you run the WD drive testing tools? Maybe you have a bad sector and it just happens to be on this section you formated as that drive. I would goto WD website first and download their tools .. more then likely a dos based boot disk tool but at least you can check your drive for errors first.
