ISO to DVD-R...

I need some help burning a ISO file, created with XISO, to a
DVD-R. I have a Optorite DVD burner that supports all files. I am using Nero 6 to burn. It will let me burn it to a CD-R but not the DVD-R. Can anyone help..

why can't you?

does it give you an error message?

In nero in the wizard where you select burner and stuff make sure it says <Burner>-DVDR and not <Burner>-CD-R they have 2 modes, one for CDs and one for DVDs and you have to be set to the right oine.

I have changed it to dvd, but do I need to use ISO or UDF/IFO??? And what drive speed should I use??

try ISO and try at a 2X or lower for the first few tries. Use a DVD-RW or +RW so you can reuse it if it dosnt work
