Laptop "Clicks" ? ?

When I left Click, putting Hard Drive into play, the Laptop makes a clear and annoyong "click" sound --which wasn't there when I got it a month ago from CompUSA.

Statered about 3 days ago.

Could the laser arm or something be hiting the plate or something?

Is this at all normal to hear "clevk "on Lappy when Left clecking to change site etc.?

I'se got to know. Figure out what to do with it.

Should keep using the Lappy ?

Or take it to the first CompUSA I can find ?

Is "clicking" sound when I left click on new screen --the hard drive going to work? -NORMAL ?

Or is it sign of something gone wrong?

new pages click open on my rig..(not a laptop).........they clicked open on my last pc too........mynoise is definitely a noise caused by the pages opening...........and is assignened to that event by winxp...........it is called the winxp menu command sound

you can find it in c/windows/media

try it...........if thats your sound then its not a problem and u can turn it off if u want to


but if that is not the sound you hear then i'd have the laptop checked out incae the hdd is about to go belly up!
