Help my computer doesnt know i have a modem
My computer will not reconize that i have a modem so i can not connect to the internet through it. When i go to add network connection the modem options are in grey. I have win xp and this wasnt a problem intill my computer crashed a week ago.

is it showing up in device manager and is there a ? by it
you probably just need the drivers which can be found by searching on google

Start > Control Panel > Phone and Modem Options > Modems.
If it's listed select Properties and run Diagnostics.
If not listed select Add and find your modem.

might want to try going to device manager and uninstalling modem then reinstall it's drivers.
