ocing my amd xp 2.1

Hey
I have found out that i can only push my amd xp 2100 fsb to 146 the original fsb is 133. If i go any higher than 146 on the fsb it will not boot windows and it will just stay on a black screen until i turn it off and reset the fsb to 133 then it will boot. I have a gigabyte 7vaxp as my mother board. I also have the latest bios updates. If you could please tell me what i can do to be able to oc it highter than 146. If you need more info please tell me and i will gladly post what you need.

what do you mean by locked? and how can i unlock it?

Buses locked , refers to bios menu setting , keeps your other components from being overclocked , just the cpu & memory are OC'ed .
If that XP2100 is a palamino , that may be about all the fsb you can get out of it .
However if it is a XP2100 ThoroughBred B core , there is much more there .
