Removing an operating system

I installed windows xp pro in my system. i had 2000 before but i didnt remove it. I want to remove the 2000 because i dont want it. How can i do that. should i remove all the OS and reinstall xp again or is there a way to uninstall 2000 alone...

It'll be a whole lot cleaner and easier if you start from scratch.

they are in same partition. as a matter of fact i dont have partiiton. what options have i got?

You do have a partition - the primary ( and only one ).

Like I said before, start from scratch - much easier.
