SCO stock bomb = sue Autozone

Coincidence? I think not.

Ok, so SCO releases their earnings and it shows a big fat loss. Suddenly, they release the name of a Linux user they are suing (without merit). Autozone.

Is it any coincidence that their stocks are doing this simultaneously?

Sam

Hmmm, maybe investors are becoming tired of their myriad of groundless lawsuits. Not a moment too soon, either.

NICE Droppage!

I hope autozone doesn't drop the ball and pay up.

Whats the odds that the ONE company that has paid up was coerced to do so by SCO for PR?

They are also sueing Daimler/Chrysler---
SCO is formerly known as Caldera...

The suit alleges the defendants violated SCO's copyrights by running versions of the Linux operating system that contain "code, structure, sequence and/or organization from SCO's proprietary Unix System V code," a SCO statement said.

I wonder how well this work with their overall plan is Autozone fights back and wins.

And I'm sure DiamlerChrysler's legal defense team is just as capable as IBM's, if not more. That won't be an easy win for SCO either.

Hehe, wouldn't it be classic if one of the major car makers put a modified version of linux in the software for a navigation system or some other electronics, so SCO would have to sue everyone with one of those cars?
