Here's a brain teaser...

Ok this is the project for all you crazies out there. I am at my wits end with this so here goes…
So I brought my Rig to my buds to play games. Everything worked fine and we rocked some stuff on COD. Well I packed up two days later and brought my stuff home always careful not to bump anything. I put my Rig back together and turn it on. I notice that the colors on the display are messed up. I get to my desktop when it is really noticeable; the red color channel is gone. I curse, thinking I messed my monitor up. So I hook my monitor up to my little bros Rig and notice that everything is fine. (Wipe Me Brow) So what could it be? VGA card perhaps? I swap my GeForce 3 Ti200 out for a BFG Asylum Fx5200. I boot up and still the same thing. WTF?! So I used the system restore to bring it back a week thinking that something in windows got screwed up, still the same problem. Red channel shows up as black.
So now here is my question, what could be making my video not display the red channel on only my Rig? I have no idea, maybe you guys know.

Thanks in advance,

Might check the pins on your monitor plug. Perhaps one got bent.

Make sure the monitor cable to your video card is plugged in properly. I had the problem where my monitor was tinted green / yellow.

No no. It's not the monitor. It worked in my Bro's Rig. So it cant be the monitor.

After swapping the cards I would think that the cards would be seated just fine.

Send a message via Yahoo to blubomber
After booting to windows, did you go into the display settings to see if anyting looked out of place? have you tried those two video cards in another computer?

The display setting are fine. As for the 5200 I know that is fine, my cousin was using that before I got it. The Ti200 I havent used in another Rig for a while now.

Coz the other system is old and lacks AGP ports. Otherwise I would have done that.
