I recommend you try ebay. Try searching, "nvidia mac" or "ati mac"
thanks

I checked ebay for you all I seen was ATI Radeon series. Most decent ones were around $100 or so for a 9000 Pro series. There were some that were cheaper too. Can post some links if you like.

Macs use AGP ports dont they? So that opens up the options to just about all vid cards. Frank, what kind of budget are we talking about? 50? 100?

most cards have dual monitor support, but a ti4200, or Radeon 9600 should fit that budget.

These are what kind of cards you are looking at, video cards that work with pc's dont work for mac's. Plus aren't they pci-x?

PCI-X on a G4? You are talking about the 64bit long slot, right? I didnt realize they took a different card, I mean, most high end Macs I've seen have had AGP slots since the ti4200 days.

I remember seeing in the G4's they had longer pci slots when I had used them as a workstation before. I believe I first seen them on a G3, at the time I was like WTF? So yeah I do believe they do use pci-x, unless they do have AGP too, I wouldn't be supprised, but even if there are some with AGP, I do not believe they take the same card as a PC does tho.
