Modem Doesn't work after gaming

Everything is great unless I play a game.We play games like Tarzan,Driver,Super Collapse,cards games Ect.
Anyway after playing a game the computer is disconnected,and sometimes it will redial,but won't connect,or it can't find the modem.After I restart the system all is well again.

This seems to happen more in the 3D games.It's not a huge issue but it sure is annoying.

The culprit is an HP Pavilion 7800
850 AMD Duron
256 MB PC133
PCTel Modem
GeForce 4 64 MB Video Card

I have all the latest drivers installed,and have no idea what to do next.Al help is appreciated

your pc is very out of date and your prob is probably the game you are running uses all availible mem (fills it all up with crap) which does not get cleared so your modem will not have enough spare mem to work, sol.-

First try installing a mem clearing prog (go to tucows.com web sist and find one)

Second try another modem cos the pctel modem is shite

Third get tiscali 3 times broadband as it is only £15.99 a month
(not any more then dial-up) and includes modem conection and del sorted.
