what's a good video card......
i am wanting to rebuild my pc in near future...as some have noticed i have basicly sold everything....when i get my income tax i want to pick up a decent video card i can play NFSU , madden 2004, etc. But not up into the 9800 and i had a 9600 pro. Is there a card running around let's say...70-90$ even used that can play these games? I will be basiclly downgrading, unless i come across a good deal. thanks... |

Dang that is not bad for the pro edition of the saphire, almost wish I got that one now for someone I helped build a computer for.
Geforce 4 Ti 4600, are you selling your radeon 9600 pro you had before or just picking up a new card?
May as well go get the radeon 9600 pro, just hope you dont sell it again.
I picked up a radeon 9000 pro for about $40, was a pretty good deal for the card at the time if you can find something like that, it will still work.

I stumbled ....and then I found a PNY Verto GeForce 4 Ti4600 128mb at Electronics Boutique for $99. The same one they had there well over a year with the original price of $349 still on it, marked out in RED.
Funny, that was two months ago. They still have a Ti4200 but they want $169 for that one. Seems someone doesn't know....the 4600 was actually more $$ at some point, but not this time. Hey I can't complain!

I just bought a Nvidia FX5700 Ultra 128 and I am very happy so far.
It is a BFG Technologies Nvidia FX5700 Ultra 128 DDR2 and they are on sale right now at Best Buy for $189 - $40 rebate = $149.
It works great. But, there are some really good deals out there right now too.
Good luck to all,
Laffctx
