CD-RW change out to DVD RW

Does anyone know of a link to walk me through pulling out my CDRW and installing a DVD+/-RW Mulitformat Drive. I know it's pretty simple but I have a DVD ROM and don't want any master-slave problems or any incorrect settings. In my current config I don't even know which drive is the master, the CD or DVD. Hopefully I can just pull the CD and plug the DVD in the same connections but not sure about jumpers. I'm sure you can see by this post I'm semi lost. Any help or link to help would be great. I'm installing a:

LG Electronics DVD+/-RW Mulitformat Drive, MOdel GSA-4081B,
Specifications:
Write Speed: 24X CD-R, 16X CD-RW, 8X DVD+R, 4X DVD-R, 4X DVD+RW, 2X DVD-RW, 3X DVD-RAM
Read Speed: 32X CD-ROM, 12X DVD-ROM, 3X DVD-RAM
Interface: ATAPI / E-IDE
Buffer: 2MB

This burner had great reviews, I guess LG is best known for cell phones and the DVD-Ram made it my pick.

I already have two hard drives which the article refers to. Does this work when changing out, not adding a CD/DVD drive?

If you're swapping out, just jumper the new drive the same as the old. Basically, it's getting your software to recognize the new drive.
