mozilla wont connect

on some web pages, when i try to sign in, or goto a page mozilla tells me that it cant connect to the page. i use mozilla because my IE is very messed up so i used a folder and tried to sign in and i got a "Page connot be fount" error.

And why is ie so messed up? Perhaps what messed that up is goofing up mozilla?
