adjusting my bass?

I want to adjust my bass.. but its darkend out.. whats up?

Also, my system specs are:

Shuttle AN35[N] Ultra mobo (nForce2 ultra chipset)
Amd Athlon 2000+ oc'ed to 2600+
512 Mb PC3200 RAM
30 Gig HDD
Windows XP, SP1

Whats the problem? I dont get it.. please help.

What kind of speakers do you have? If you're only using a 4.1 or 2.1 system that doesn't have a center/bass channel input, you won't be able to ajust your bass with the nForce control center. If you do have the correct speakers for the job, it's possible that you just have it set on the wrong speaker setup inside the control panel. It should be on 5.1 or digital, depending on your speakers.

Or if there's just the normal bass and treble sliders and those are faded, I have no idea.

Try some headphone and play music. Try looking at your sound settings on the control panel. I really don't have clue. Try adjusting the tone knob on your speakers. Make sure connections fully in the hole.

Have you checked to make sure you have the latest audio drivers for your chipset from the manufacturers website? (shot in the dark).
