Need info on Router purchase

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could advise me as to which router to purchase. I don't really need anything special, like wireless connection. I just need it to allow two computers to share one internet connection. I've had experience with Linksys routers in the past so I'd probably prefer to use that brand. Although, I did here that Linksys routers have a really short lifespan, not too sure how true that is though. Thanks and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

*Note* Both computers are using Windows XP. They need to connect via Ethernet Cables, not USB or Firewire. The cable company is Comcast, not sure if that matters or not.

Second vote for for BEFSR41... used since Summer 2000 with no problems... very easy setup. Should be able to find for less than $50.
