can someone tel me why ???

ok i did an upgrade about 2 months ago . well i just took it apart tonight to break down to sell the parts . well it has a asus p3v4x motherboard in it . so i go to ebay and do a search to see what they are going for .. check it out . can someone please explain why ? am i missing something >?

look at the prices they are getting . i was wondering why for a slot 1 board

Because its Ebay, everyone goes to Ebay for a bargain, not to pay high prices. If it isnt 15-25% less than retail, it doesn sell.

Also new boards are selling in the $120 - $180 Range.

Some include alot of extras like ram/vid cards too. I once sold a PC game on Ebay that had old arcade games like Defender for like $90. (which my ex boss gave to me)
Just depends on whos buying and needing the items.

being that you didn't say you couldn't see the link i didn't know ,

it is a slot 1 mobo thats selling in the 60$ range and higher . i was simply wondering why so high is all somrry to disturb you .

Apparently this particular mobo is rare. That's all the info I could gather.

Same reason why socket 423 CPUs are so expensive, I guess. They're just about obsolete, but since they are so rare their prices are high.

I did say the link didnt help---
Didnt disturb me but I was curious being a former P3V4X owner---
It was one of the best slot 1 boards with all the newest features at the time and still good now, I know the one I had is still chugging along for a friend 4 years later---60$ does seem high considering inexpensive AMD/ECS etc combos that are available today...
