wireless setup question using a wired router with a print server

ok i am about to switch to a wireless network . i am tired of triping over wires going to all parts of the house for pc's

ok here is my questions

i have a dlink DI-624 G router and a netgear wr-602 access point , will they play nice ? i understand that because the router is super G (108mb) and the access point is G (54) i will only get the regular G with anything that connects thru the access point . i was wonding if anybody has used them together before or should i just get a dlink access point ?
can i set up the access point where my cows are and run out the plug in the back to a switch and go from the switch to my cows so i don't have to get wireless adapters for each cow ?
i have a sieman 2614 router with a print server built in . can i use that as a switch and still have the print server but shut of the dchp in the router ?
am i just asking blatant n00b questions ?
I can't say anything about mixing G and Super-G. Until now I thought Super-G was a ski race.

But you should be able to run a switch off the access point if it has a CAT5 port available. Either that or get a wireless bridge. My wife's PC upstairs is connected to a wireless bridge. It's Cat5 to the PCs and wireless to my wireless router. You can hang a hub off a bridge and connect multiple PCs to it.
