Video Editing Question

I am planning on building a system that will be used for video editing and home use. I am planing on getting the Logitech Cordles Duo but would like another keyboard specifically for editing preferably with a scroll whell and hot heys that are labled. Is there any way i could hook up both keyboards to my computer with a switch so when im editing i can use one but when my family is using the computer they can use another. Thanks

AFAIK you can't, but if there was some way to do it id like to know as well because i have a similar situation. My sister likes to use this keyboard that I absolutely hate, so we just power down the computer and switch keyboards.

A reverse keyboard switch may meet your needs though you might have to add another mouse....You can check it out here...

It's possible to use two mice at once on the same computer system(1 USB and 1 PS/2, or 2 USB), so I don't know why you couldn't use two keyboards at the same time.

You wouldn't need a switch, but I guess if you needed one, then others can help you with it.

Also, you can get a gaming keyboard like the Belkin nostromo n-50 GamePad, which is basically a little keyboard with scroll wheel and thumb 8 way pad. I use it for Photoshop and Premiere, and it works like a dream!

you can use 2. I use a logitech cordless keyboard and mouse, plugged into usb. But, I don't like the mouse too much, so still use my MS optical wheel, also usb. And, I keep a ps/2 keyboard plugged in for bios work. They all work at the same time for me.
