Flash animation in Opera

It pains me to say it, but I've encountered a problem in Opera that IE doesn't have. It seems that pages with flash animation often cause it to crash, although not always immediately. I am using the latest version and i tried re-installing opera and the flash plugin, it still does it.

I have the same problem. Opera's previous versions (pre v.7) don't seem to have this problem, but I like the new features of Version 7...any suggestions for Gilthanaz would help me too.

7.22.
I'm going to try the latest...you say it's 7.23?

also in the "About" section (under the "Help" tab on the navigation bar, here is some of what's listed:

Quote:
Mail directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Opera\Opera7.1\Mail
Help documents C:\Program Files\Opera7.1\Help
Plug-in path *empty*

I'm thinking that i need to give my Opera install a plugin directory, and then install the flash plugin at this directory.

I'm still tinkering :0)

version 7.23 works fine with the Flash plugin. I'm running it now and can see all the Flash advertisements on websites *sigh* just fine.

I haven't had a problem and I'm using more of a later version than that even and didn't have a problem with 7.23, but all were on a clean install, so I have opera 7.50 preview 2.
Works just fine with the latest version of flash player, get that from http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/...ShockwaveFlash
It works just fine for me, if not, look at backing up your skins, book marks.
Then delete the opera profile and uninstall opera and do a clean install. Do this if your still having a problem Gilthanaz.
